Egyptian-Swiss diplomatic relations have a long history between the two countries, characterized by understanding and agreement on most issues. Egypt is always keen to develop these relations through official and unofficial meetings with the Swiss side. There is a Swiss interest in the charitable work provided by non-governmental organizations, and Egyptian nominations to international organizations, in general, receive Swiss interest and support.
