Egypt Post has issued a commemorative stamp of the Euro-Mediterranean Union's competition, titled "Mediterranean Resources." The Mediterranean region is rich in diverse natural and economic resources, including fisheries, oil, natural gas, salt, and other resources. This is in addition to the region's significant tourism importance. Therefore, the Postal Union of the Mediterranean organizes an annual competition among the Union's countries to select the best design for the year's issue. The designs are published on the Union's website, and voting is then held on the best participating designs.
