Egypt Post has issued a commemorative postage stamp on the occasion of the Universal Postal Union's celebration this year of its 150th anniversary. This is the date on which 22 countries signed the Berne Treaty on October 9, 1874, with the aim of establishing the Universal Postal Union, which was later known by this name.
