Egypt Post has issued a commemorative stamp to mark the centenary of Al-Mussawar magazine “100 Years of patriotism and enlightenment”. The published Al-Mussawar magazine by Dar Al-Hilal is one of the most renowned magazines in Egypt and the Arab world, distinguished since launching its first issue on October 24, 1924 by its founder Emil and Shukri Zidan with the use of the latest rotogravure printing technology, making it the first magazine in the Middle East to show accurate and dazzling images, thus leading visual media in the region.
