Egypt Post issues a miniature sheet on the occasion of the centenary of the First Egyptian Parliamentary Session. After the end of the First World War, the Egyptian revolution broke out in 1919 which resulted in the declaration of the 1923 constitution, that Constitution established a bi-cameral parliament; the Senate and the House of Representatives that replaced the Legislative Assembly. 
March 15, 1924 is the inauguration day of Egypt's first parliament, the Parliament of “Constitution and Independence” and the convening of the First Egyptian Parliamentary Session.
