Egypt Post has issued a commemorative stamp on the occasion "The Centenary of Rose al-Yusuf Magazine's First Issue". The centenary celebrated a journalistic and intellectual institution that has been part of the nation's memory and consciousness for an entire century and has been both a witness and a partner in the journey of modern Egypt, with all its challenges and achievements. The magazine was founded by the pioneering lady Fatima Al-Youssef, known as 'Rose Al-Youssef,' an exceptional woman who believed in the power of words and journalism to effect change. She was thus one of the first pioneering women in Arab journalism and is considered by sources to be the first woman to establish a publishing house and a newspaper in the Arab world.
